Theatre of the Oppressed NYC with Yo SOS Theatre Troupe presented The School-to-Prison Pipeline, a forum play investigating the racism and gun violence that lead to trauma for students in NYC public schools. This play, based on the lived experiences of youths in Crown Heights, highlights the shame and punishment endured by students who advocate for mental health support following the death of a classmate.
