Fellowship Workshops are designed with applicants to our Socially Engaged Art Fellowships in mind, but are open to the public – all are welcome! The Workshop in November featured Mierle Laderman Ukeles, who discussed her practice through the example of a project or two, which served as a model for the kind of art that A Blade of Grass funds. Following the artist’s presentation, A Blade of Grass staff briefly described the application process and answered any general questions that artists may have about it. A reception followed that gives applicants the opportunity to meet A Blade of Grass staff. For those who couldn’t make it, the recording of the event was made available online through ABOG’s website.
