The 8th Floor welcomed Ricardo Porro, architect of Cuba’s National Arts Schools and Alysa Nahmias, co-director of Unfinished Spaces, for a discussion and Q & A after the screening. A hors d’oeurves and wine reception followed.

Cuba’s ambitious National Art Schools project, designed by three young architects in the wake of Castro’s Revolution, is neglected, nearly forgotten, then ultimately rediscovered as a visionary architectural masterpiece.
